NFL fan and you have no cable? Here the options to see the games

If you clicked on this article, it is because you are one of those who plan your calendar in advance to see the games of your favorite team every week and wonder who will be the successor of the Philadelphia Eagles.

The first thing to know is how the games are broadcast regularly: on Sunday afternoons, the broadcast is on CBS and  Fox ; Meanwhile, on Sunday nights, it is on  NBC , while ESPN runs Monday night games. Then, for 13 weeks, a game is scheduled on Thursday nights that NFL Network broadcasts and this season 11 of those 13 games will also be broadcast simultaneously on Fox, Amazon Prime and Twitch.

On the other hand, we can also consider the option of NFL RedZone, a channel that comes to life every fall and promises to show all the touchdowns of each Sunday game in the afternoon, which becomes an attractive option to see fragments, better plays and summaries.

Now, the detailed transmission picture of the 2018-2019 season for the United States, which starts on Thursday, September 6, is as follows:

Open television
If you live in an area with good reception, you can get the signal of the channels that transmit the season simply by connecting an affordable antenna (below $ US30) to almost any television.

In addition to the games on CBS, Fox and NBC, if your home team is on ESPN or NFL Network, then that duel will also generally be broadcast simultaneously on a local station. In other words, you should be able to see your local team for free every week. You'll also access Sunday's games on CBS and Fox and the 11 games on Thursday night, which will air on Fox.

Playstation Vue
PlayStation Vue , Sony's live television streaming service, offers all networks that stream NFL games, even for an extra $ 10 you can add the NFL RedZone channel.

The basic $ 50 plan is the cheapest option, which includes the five channels that real NFL fans need: CBS, Fox, NBC, ESPN and NFL Network. The $ 10 Sports Pack per month allows you to enjoy NFL RedZone as well.

Channel schedules vary by region , so check what live local options you get on the PlayStation Vue Plans page .

In many markets you can watch content on demand, but not live from CBS, Fox, NBC and their other local networks. This is repeated for all streaming services that offer live TV.

Directv Now
DirectTV Now includes CBS, Fox, NBC, ESPN and NFL Network. Live a Little, the basic package of US $ 40 per month offers access to games on CBS and Fox on Sunday afternoons, Sunday Night Football on NBC, Monday Night Football on ESPN and Thursday Night Football on Fox. The Just Right package , of US $ 55 per month, includes the NFL RedZone.

Usual warning: Check the programming of the channels in your area to make sure you can watch local TV stations live. And keep in mind that you can't get  NFL Sunday Ticket with DirectTV Now.

NFL Sunday Ticket allows you to watch all NFL Sunday games but requires a different service or meet certain eligibility rules (mainly, living in an apartment without access to satellite service or being a university student, for example).

Sling tv
Sling TV splits its NFL options live through monthly payment plans such as  Blue ( US $ 20) and Orange 's (US $ 25), which forces NFL fans to make a difficult decision or encourages them to win $ 40 per month (you get a discount of $ 5 if you buy both).

This is the deal:  Sling Blue includes the games on Thursdays and Sundays that broadcast Fox, NBC and NFL Network. Sling Orange includes Monday night games on ESPN. If you want to add the NFL RedZone, you must opt for  Sling Blue . Now, Blue , but not Orange , subscribers can add the $ 10 Sports Extra package per month, which includes NFL RedZone.

Sling TV does not offer CBS, which usually has the American Conference (AFC) games on Sunday afternoons. Use Sling TV GameFinder to see if you can watch Fox and NBC's live and local broadcast in your area.

Hulu with Live TV
Hulu with Live TV includes CBS, Fox, NBC and ESPN, but not NFL Network, which means you'll receive games on Sunday afternoon (CBS and Fox), Sunday night (NBC), Monday night ( ESPN) and 11 games on Thursday night (Fox). This service costs US $ 40 per month. Same warning: you should check which live channels Hulu offers in your area .

YouTube TV
Like Hulu with Live TV, YouTube TV costs US $ 40 per month and includes CBS, Fox, NBC and ESPN, but not NFL Network. It is currently available in major metropolitan markets .

FuboTV
FuboTV costs US $ 35 for the first month only and then US $ 45 per month and includes CBS, Fox, NBC and NFL Network, but not ESPN. You will miss Monday Night Football on ESPN, instead you will receive the games on Sunday afternoons (CBS and Fox), Sunday nights (NBC) and the 13 Thursday night games (NFL Network). The Sports Plus package ,  for $ 9 a month, adds NFL RedZone.

CBS All Acces
CBS All Access costs US $ 5.99 per month. Four months of CBS All Access will take you through the NFL season, allowing you to see American Conference (AFC) clashes on Sunday afternoons. It is a good complement for Sling TV subscribers, who do not have CBS. (For reader transparency, CNET is a division of CBS).

Amazon Prime
Amazon Prime will broadcast the 11 football games Thursday night, which will be broadcast simultaneously on Fox. Initially, Amazon Prime games will also be broadcast live for free on Amazon-owned Twitch, which means It is not necessary to buy an Amazon Prime membership for the express purpose of watching American football.

NFL App
In previous years, only Verizon Wireless subscribers could play live games on their phones with the NFL mobile app . Now, anyone can get a live NFL broadcast on their mobile, regardless of the operator.

You will just look at your phone and you will only see local games on the market and national broadcasts on Thursdays, Sundays and Monday nights. The matches can also be followed in the Yahoo and Yahoo Sport applications.
